The University of Toledo Department of Music will present its Holiday Showcase, featuring choral and instrumental performances by students and faculty, on Sunday, Dec. 7.<\/p>\n

The Holiday Showcase begins at 7 p.m. in Doermann Theatre.<\/p>\n

The University orchestra, choral ensembles and faculty jazz trio will perform a variety of holiday classics including \u201cToyland,\u201d \u201cSleigh Ride\u201d and \u201cIt’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas.\u201d The program will be interspersed with individual performances by students, faculty and special guests.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Holiday Showcase is a favorite among faculty and students,\u201d said Dr. Jason Stumbo, chair of the Department of Music. \u201cMore than an opportunity to share the beloved music of the holidays with our community, the showcase allows us to celebrate the outstanding talent of our UToledo musicians.\u201d<\/p>\n

General admission tickets are $10 in advance via the Tix.com UToledo website<\/a> or at the box office before the performance. Student tickets are free with a Rocket ID.<\/p>\n
