What I really love is that every one of our teams earned at least a 3.2 GPA, which shows that our success in the classroom is ingrained as a part of our culture,” Blair said. “Our student-athletes continue to raise the bar academically while competing at the highest level. That’s a testament to their hard work as well as the incredible support system provided by our coaches, faculty and academic staff. This is what it means to be a Rocket — pursuing excellence in everything we do.”

“All teams earning a 3.2 or higher GPA for the first time ever and six teams setting GPA records is so remarkable,” added Associate Athletic Director of Student Athlete Academic Services Jillian Lehman. “I continue to be impressed with our student-athletes at the level they compete in all areas, but especially in the classroom. Of course, I must give credit to our coaches; they are the biggest supporters of these student-athletes in achieving academic success.”

Women’s Golf achieved the highest GPA in the department with a 3.876, which is second all-time for any Toledo sports, trailing only the record of 3.913 set by Women’s Tennis in fall 2023.
