To support this work, The University of Toledo will host Artificial Intelligence and Information Literacy Assessment Day 2026, titled \u201cGuiding Students Through the Noise,\u201d from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 22, in Carlson Library 1005.<\/p>\n<p>Hosted by the University Assessment and Program Review Committee, University Libraries and the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, the seminar will bring together faculty, students, librarians and academic staff for a morning of discussion and practical exploration focused on information literacy and our new AI-driven learning environment.<\/p>\n<p>The program will explore what information literacy looks like in today\u2019s classrooms, how it can be effectively assessed and how artificial intelligence intersects with teaching, learning and academic integrity. Sessions will feature campus experts sharing strategies, assessment approaches and examples that participants can apply across disciplines. The event will conclude with optional library tours of the newly renovated facility.<\/p>\n<p>Registration is required at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.utoledo.edu\/offices\/provost\/utc\/events\/\">event\u2019s website<\/a>.
