A number of graduate UToledo programs, across a broad array of disciplines, are among the best in the nation, as just ranked by U.S. News & World Report.<\/p><\/div>\n
UToledo\u2019s Occupational Therapy program was the highest-ranked program, placing in the top quarter of national graduate programs.<\/p>\n
Occupational therapy was one of 10 UToledo graduate programs that rose on their respective ranking lists this year, with big leaps for physical therapy and speech-language pathology, along with increases for clinical psychology, mathematics, part-time M.B.A., public health, physics, pharmacy and full-time law.<\/p>\n
Also placing among the nationally ranked graduate programs are medical primary care, medical research, education, statistics, chemistry, nursing, engineering and part-time law.<\/p>\n
\u201cTo be recognized at the national level for excellent program quality in so many different disciplines is gratifying,\u201d said UToledo Provost Mitchell S. McKinney. \u201cIt reflects the University\u2019s overall focus on the success of our students, the hard work of our outstanding faculty and the growing reputation of our programs.\u201d<\/p>\n
U.S. News\u2019 Best Graduate Schools rankings are determined by two types of data: expert assessment of program excellence and\/or statistical indicators that measure the quality of a school\u2019s faculty, research and students.<\/p>\n
