Comments submitted for review are answered by the policy\u2019s responsible agent.<\/p>\n<p>All policies will be placed on the policy website for a second 30-day comment period if significant revisions are made after the initial comment period and before the approving officer signs the policy. Once the comment period has lapsed or been waived, the policy is submitted to the approving officer for signature.<\/p>\n<p>Draft policies are posted on Fridays and remain available online throughout the comment period, which is noted in the description of each proposed policy on the website.<\/p>\n<p>The University is discontinuing a previous practice of sending an email notice to individuals who request to be notified of postings and encourages faculty, staff and students to regularly check the draft policies website to review proposed policies.
