University Photographer Dan Miller captured the slow thaw of Ottawa River on Monday afternoon, as the recent snow and ice gave way to warmer temperatures. The winter “heat wave” will continue through the week, peaking Friday with a high in the mid-50s, followed by a slow return to January’s familiar chill when classes begin Monday.
