RockeTHON will host a Miracle Banquet Dinner for all University of Toledo faculty, staff, alumni and community members Tuesday, March 22.
UT President Sharon L. Gaber will be the night’s keynote speaker along with a Miracle Family.
“In the past, RockeTHON has generally attracted student involvement,” Sean Reck, overall director for RockeTHON, said. “This banquet is an excellent avenue for non-student members of this University’s community to get involved with RockeTHON.”
RockeTHON is the largest student-run philanthropy on campus. Students raise funds throughout the year for local Miracle Children’s Hospital, Mercy Children’s Hospital. Since 2001, $700,000 has been raised.
This year, the goal is to raise $130,000, a $24,000 increase from the $106,000 raised last year, according to Reck.
Tickets are $25 each; checks, cash and credit cards are accepted.
RSVP for the event by calling 419.530.4606 or visit the Ask Rocky desk on the second floor of the Student Union by Friday, March 4.
