General Admission parking will be available Saturday, March 22, and Monday, March 24, for the 2014 NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament at John F. Savage Arena.
All parking for the tournament is $5 per vehicle per session. All parking is on a first-come, first-served basis in the following lots: 1, 2, 5, 6, 9, 10, 18, 19, 20 and the East Ramp. Shuttles will run from lots 18, 19 and 20, which are by Nitschke Hall.
Lots 3 and 4, which are located east of Savage Arena, will not be available for public parking.
Patrons attending the NCAA Women’s basketball tournament at Savage Arena are encouraged to arrive early for the second round game Monday, March 24. Classes will be in session, so traffic will be heavy.
Handicapped parking will be available in front of Savage Arena; enter Lot 5 west of the building and proceed to the handicapped area on the north side of the arena. Handicapped parking also will be available in Lot 18, south of Savage Arena. Park in Lot 18 and a handicapped accessible shuttle bus will provide transportation to the bus circle on the north side of Savage Arena.
A limited number of parking passes will be made available to UT Rocket Fund donors at the $500 (gold) level and higher. Passes may be picked up in person at the UT Ticket Office beginning Wednesday, March 19, through Friday, March 21. Use the Lot 5 entrance to access the office. Spaces are available near the merchandise shop for ticket customers.
Rocket Fund donors must present a photo ID to pick up a pass. Limit of one pass per contributor while supplies last. No phone requests will be taken; passes must be picked in person between Wednesday and Friday.
If a Rocket Fund donor has a UT President’s Club pass, no NCAA Parking pass will be issued since the patron can use that pass for parking during the tournament.
UT Presidents Club members may park in any lot except Lot 3 and the front portion of Lot 4 reserved for the media.
