The University of Toledo is implementing additional measures to help prevent the spread of disease during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic by having employees work remotely.

Employees will begin working remotely effective Thursday, March 19, with only authorized employees working on campus. Employees should speak with their supervisor to determine if a remote work arrangement is feasible.

In the event that an employee’s job responsibilities cannot be facilitated remotely or are not needed during this period, the employee will use paid leave to cover the time off.

University leaders will reassess staffing plans on or before April 3.
