Has a University of Toledo instructor or staff member done something innovative or unique to impact your sense of community or classroom learning? If so, UToledo wants to hear about it through the Shout Out for Innovative Instructors and Staff Campaign.
The Office of the Provost encourages students to share stories on the faculty-staff shout-out website of their instructors or staff members who have made — or are making — a difference in their academic pursuits this semester. The submissions can be either a short written description or a short video recording.
Deadline to submit is Friday, April 9.
“This is an opportunity for you to highlight an instructor or staff person who has impacted your well-being, success or sense of community on campus,” said Denise Bartell, associate vice provost for student success.
“Perhaps they’ve done something innovative or unique that stood out to you. Or they have just consistently been there and been supportive. Whatever they’ve done, we want to know so that we can recognize them for their efforts on behalf of students.”
Submissions will be collected and distributed across campus to recognize instructors and staff and share what they’ve done, so that others may learn from them.
