Fulbright orientation sessions to be held April 17

The University of Toledo College of Languages, Literature and Social Sciences (LLSS) Teaching Fellows are hosting a Fulbright Orientation Session to guide interested students and faculty through the process of applying for student Fulbright Scholarships.

There will be two consecutive, hour-long sessions on Thursday, April 17 beginning at 11 a.m. and noon, respectively. The sessions will be held in the Memorial Field House room 2420 and include a light lunch and refreshments.Fulbright_Logo

Dr. Friederike Emonds, associate professor of German and UT’s Fulbright Program Adviser, will lead the seminar. Emonds and LLSS Teaching Fellows will provide general information about the scholarships, the application process and funding necessities, as well as strategies and tips for writing winning apps.

The Fulbright U.S. Student Program provides research and study or English teaching grants in more than 150 countries.
