Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority Director Awarded 2024 UToledo Business Pacemaker Award

The University of Toledo’s John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation recognized both business and academic excellence during its annual Pacemaker Awards on April 5 at the Inverness Club.

The prestigious 2024 Business Pacemaker Award was presented to Craig Teamer, the director of finance and special projects at the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority.

Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority Director Craig Teamer, who was awarded the 2024 UToledo Business Pacemaker Award by the John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation on April 5.

Craig, a native of Toledo, graduated from St. Francis DeSales High School in 1994. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration in finance from The University of Toledo in 1998, and later pursued an executive master of business administration degree from Bowling Green State University, completing it in 2004.

Student Pacemaker Awards also were presented to UToledo Neff College of Business and Innovation graduate and undergraduate students for their outstanding academic achievement, University and community service and leadership.

The 2024 Student Pacemakers are:

•  Doctor of philosophy in manufacturing and technology management (Ph.D.), Narges Mashhadi Nejad;

•  Master of business administration, Andrew Fritz;

•  Master of science in accountancy, Yan Liu;

•  Master of applied business analytics, Mohammad Tameem Hossain Azmi;

•  Accounting, Matthew Forsthoefel and Jacob Catrone;

•  Finance, Brady Pridgeon;

•  Information Systems and Supply Chain Management, Joel Bruggen and Grant Mickens;

•  Management, Christina Zielinski and Amanda Drees;

•  Marketing and international business, Grace Kim and Anastasia Rogers; and

•  Dean’s Award, Erin Stephens.
