Parking Areas 18 and 18S on Main Campus and Parking Area 43 on HSC will be closed in phases beginning 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7, and will reopen sometime in August.
The Area 18 and 18S summer construction project is located north of the Computer Center near the Student Recreation Center.
During construction, employees and students are encouraged to park as their permits allow in the open section of Area 18 or Areas 8, 9, 19 and 20. Please refer to the light post signs or line colors (yellow or white painted lines) as a secondary reference.
• Phase 1 is tentatively scheduled for Sunday, May 7, through Sunday, June 18. All vehicles must be moved out of Phase 1, the east side of Area 18, by 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 7.
• Phase 2 is tentatively scheduled for Monday, June 19, through Friday, Aug. 4. All vehicles must be moved out of Phase 2, the west side of Area 18, by 6 p.m. on Sunday, June 18.
• Phase 18S is tentatively scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, July 8 and 9, and Saturday and Sunday, July 15 and 16. Area 18S will close at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 7, and reopen on Monday, July 10. It will then close again, the following weekend, starting at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 14, and reopen on Monday, July 17.
Area 43, located south of the Health Education Building – just south of Transverse Drive between Health Center Drive and E. Medical Loop, will be closed this summer to undergo a complete renovation.
The area will be closed in phases beginning at 6 p.m. Sunday, May 7.

• Phase 2 is tentatively scheduled for Friday, June 23, through Friday, August 11. All vehicles must be moved out of the east side of Area 43 by 6 p.m. on Thursday, June 22.

Parking permits are not needed to park on The University of Toledo campus through Sunday, May 7, for guests to visit campus for Commencement events and to assist students with moving out of the residence halls.
While parking will not be enforced for permit violations, it will continue for spaces that are reserved, disabled, metered and patient parking, and areas where there is no overnight parking permitted.
It is recommended that students who are graduating use parking areas 5 and 6 near Savage Arena for graduation ceremonies. More information on parking for Commencement and move out is available on the ParkUToledo website.
Parking permit enforcement will resume Monday, May 8. Purchase a parking permit for the summer semester via the ParkUToledo website or the myUT portal.
