Nextronex Energy Systems, housed in The University of Toledo’s Nitschke Technology Commercialization Complex at 1510 North Westwood Ave., will host an open house Friday, May 11, from 3 to 5 p.m.
Nextronex is a solar component manufacturing company that develops and sells commercial and utility-scale grid-tie inverter systems for photovoltaic installations in the United States and overseas. In the solar industry, inverters convert the direct current energy generated by solar panels to alternating current energy for energy grids as well as off-grid applications.
Greg Knudson, vice president of sales and marketing, said the company is dedicated to becoming known as the premier provider of utility and commercial-scale solar inverters, supplying its patented distributed architecture energy maximization systems for ground-mount and rooftop solar arrays across the country and around the world.
Nextronex’s 1,000-volt direct current center-of-array placement and advanced low light harvesting technology typically generates 7 percent to 11 percent higher energy output versus industry predictive models while significantly reducing wire cabling, copper and installation costs for customers, which is critical for successful growth.
