Molitor, who has been a member of the UToledo faculty since 2000, will assume the duties previously held by Dr. Amy Thompson, who accepted a new position as provost for Wright State University.

“I’m confident that Scott’s expertise will be an asset to the Provost’s Office,” said Dr. Karen Bjorkman, provost and executive vice president for academic affairs. “Please join me in welcoming him to the Provost’s Office as we continue our efforts to serve the students, faculty and staff at UToledo.”

Molitor earned his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering from Johns Hopkins University and bachelor’s degree in engineering science from the University of Michigan. He completed postdoctoral fellowships at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine and the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
