The “On the Road with Ohio PTA” conference will be held from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 21, in the Memorial Field House on UT’s Main Campus. On-site registration will be available.

“The Ohio PTA is a valued organization for parents to become involved in their children’s education, and the University is happy to host their Toledo regional conference as part of our ongoing commitment to promote the value of education,” said John Adams, UT senior director for enrollment brand strategy.

The leadership conference will provide training workshops for new and experienced PTA leaders, providing knowledge and networking opportunities, said Lisa Mack, president-elect of the Ohio PTA. Members of the Ohio PTA Board of Directors will conduct the workshops.

This is the first year of the “On the Road with Ohio PTA” theme with the association traveling across the state to bring the training to its membership. Other conferences will be held in Copley, Warren, Marion and Springdale.

The Ohio PTA is the oldest and largest volunteer organization in the state focusing on the health, welfare, safety and education of children and youth. For more information, click here.
