Rocket golfer Rasmus Broholt Lind was named a 2018-19 Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar, the Golf Coaches Association of America announced recently.
A communications major with a 3.582 grade-point average, Lind ranked third on the team with a 75.7 stroke average. He posted his top finish at Ohio State’s Kepler Intercollegiate in April by tying for 11th place with a three-over par 145 (75-70). Lind also tied for 26th place at the Mid-American Conference Championships and tied for 28th place at the Inverness Intercollegiate.
To be eligible for Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically; compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level; participate in 50 percent of his team’s competitive rounds; have a stroke-average under 76.0 in Division I, 78.0 in Division II and NAIA, and 79.0 in Division III; and maintain a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2.A recipient also must be of high moral character and be in good standing at his college or university.
