Each of them came to The University of Toledo with a dream.

Maybe it was to build bridges, to care for patients or to work in the same field as a grandparent.

And through the education and connections each student made at UT, that dream became a reality after graduation — a job in their chosen field.

These are the young alumni featured in the newest UT advertising campaign, premiering the week of Sept. 23 on air and in print.

Esther Fabian, associate vice president for branding and creative services, explained the development of the campaign. “Through focus groups and talking with our prospective students, we know that they want to make sure they can get a job when they graduate. We wanted to highlight real graduates who had real dreams and now have real jobs.”

Staff from the UT Office of Marketing and the Center for Creative Instruction produced the campaign, with assistance with WGTE. The campaign consists of radio commercials, TV spots, billboards, print ads and more, which will be seen and heard in the Toledo, Detroit and Cleveland markets.

“We are delighted with this exciting new campaign and that it was done internally by our very talented team,” said Larry Burns, vice president for external affairs. “Thanks to all of your wonderful young graduates who participated.”
