A pop-up flu shot clinic will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 25, in Savage Arena on Main Campus.
The vaccines are free to faculty, staff and students. Appointments are not needed, but individuals do need to complete a consent form, available at influenza.utoledo.edu, prior to getting their shot.
Annual influenza vaccines are required for all graduate and undergraduate students as well as employees who are not represented by a bargaining unit.
Flu vaccines also are required for faculty, staff, students and volunteers at The University of Toledo Medical Center and other University clinics whose duties or positions cause them to be in patient care areas.
Proof of vaccination must be received by Dec. 1.
Individuals who get vaccinated through the University will have their documentation automatically uploaded. Students and employees who receive a flu shot elsewhere will need to upload proof of vaccination through the University’s vaccine registry portal.
Flu shots also are available to faculty, staff and students daily at the University Health Center on Main Campus and at the outpatient pharmacy in the UTMC Medical Pavilion on Health Science Campus.
