The University of Toledo is offering faculty, staff and students the opportunity to schedule a free rapid COVID-19 test ahead of Thanksgiving break when they may be visiting with loved ones.

To request an appointment, individuals should visit the University’s online scheduling portal.

Testing is being offered on Main Campus and Health Science Campus. Appointments are currently available through Friday, Nov. 19. Additional appointment times will be added next week.

The antigen-based tests, performed in partnership with The University of Toledo Medical Center and collected via a shallow nasal swab, will provide results in approximately 30 minutes.

This testing is for asymptomatic individuals only. Anyone experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 should request a test at the University Health Center on Main Campus or UTMC.

Unvaccinated students and employees — including those who have been granted an exemption — are already required to participate in the University’s surveillance COVID-19 testing process at least once per week and use the same online scheduling portal.

Individuals who have not yet uploaded their proof of vaccination are encouraged to do so through the University’s vaccine registry portal.
