The University of Toledo’s John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation will host more than 75 companies for its Fall Job Fair on Thursday, Oct. 1.
The Neff College of Business hosts semiannual networking events to support students seeking internships and post-graduation employment. Approximately 400 students studying accounting, finance, marketing, professional sales and entrepreneurship and innovation, among other business disciplines, are expected to participate from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Student Recreation Center.

“Employers know our students are well prepared and eager to contribute their skills to business environments that are rapidly advancing with new technologies like artificial intelligence,” said Dr. Terribeth Gordon-Moore, senior associate dean for undergraduate programs and administration for the Neff College of Business. “The semiannual job fair is a valuable opportunity to connect these employers with students who simultaneously benefit by developing the industry experience and professional networks that will launch their careers — in many cases at the same companies where they intern.”
The Neff College of Business is nationally ranked among the Princeton Review’s Best Business Schools and U.S. News & World Report’s Best Undergraduate Business Programs. It also stands out as one of only 6% of business schools worldwide to meet the high accreditation standards of the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), as well as one of fewer than 200 business schools worldwide to maintain a supplemental accreditation for its accounting program.
The college boasts a strong internship tradition that aligns with a new experience-based learning initiative being introduced across the University. Applied Skills for Career Experience, Networking and Development (ASCEND) ensures that all incoming undergraduate students, regardless of major, will engage in an experience-based learning opportunity before they earn their degree, setting them up for success in careers in a wide variety of industries.
Numerous local, regional and national companies are set to participate in this week’s job fair including The Andersons, Dana Inc., Marathon Petroleum, O-I Glass, Owens Corning, Toyota and Plante Moran.
Madison Amstutz, an accounting senior, developed valuable industry experience as a sales and use tax intern this summer at Marathon Petroleum.
“This internship challenged me, helped me grow professionally and created unforgettable memories,” she said. “I am grateful to have been a part of such an incredible internship program and am looking forward to what the future holds.”
