As COVID-19 vaccines become more widely available, The University of Toledo is optimistic in the ability to return to more familiar campus operations in the summer and fall terms.
A key part of making that possible is widespread vaccination of the entire campus community. It is critical that faculty, staff and students get the COVID-19 vaccine as soon as possible.
This week and next, the University is offering COVID-19 vaccine clinics on campus exclusively for students and employees age 18 and above. Appointment slots are available on a first-come, first-served basis. All appointments for the first clinic on April 1 were quickly reserved, so please watch your email closely for information on the April 5 clinic.
UToledo will continue to schedule additional clinics for students and employees as more vaccine doses become available.
As leadership continues planning for more traditional summer and fall terms, the University is continually reevaluating course offerings and moving as many courses to face-to-face as possible. This is an ongoing process, so please note it is possible that a course currently listed as remote may be moved to in-person if the class size permits.
Current students are encouraged to schedule a meeting with their academic advisor as soon as possible. Fall 2021 registration opened last week for seniors and continues throughout the following weeks.
It’s important that students register early in order to get the schedule they need, as some class sizes may be limited due to social distancing guidelines. This also helps the University determine if an online class can be safely moved to an in-person offering based on class size.

Both current and incoming students are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid, known as the FAFSA, and to apply for scholarships. UToledo awarded more than $110 million in scholarships and grants in 2019.
