The University of Toledo Athletic Department announced a Gold Rush Week for this week’s football, men’s basketball and women’s basketball games.
Fans are encouraged to wear gold for all three games this week, beginning with the Battle of I-75 football game vs. Bowling Green on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Kickoff for the nationally televised contest is at 7 p.m. at the Glass Bowl.
The men’s basketball team hosts Oakland on Wednesday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m., while the women host Duke on Sunday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m.
All three teams will feature gold uniforms during Gold Rush Week.
For the football game on Nov. 15, gold thunder stix will be the featured giveaway, while gold #TeamToledo rally towels will be given away at both basketball games.
Fans who post photos of themselves in their gold gear on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter on game day will have a chance to win a $100 Rocky’s Locker gift card. One winner will be selected for each game.
