As a reminder, the University will close for the annual winter break from Friday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Jan. 2, at a time when most departments are slower than usual.
Access to buildings will be restricted, and facility operations and ground maintenance also will be limited during the break. The University of Toledo Medical Center and its operations will remain open for patients and their guests.
The end of the semester and winter break also brings new hours and temporary closures of on-campus services through the holidays.
At Thompson Student Union, most dining locations will close as finals week concludes. Chick-Fil-A, True Burger, Market @ Ottawa East, Starbucks and Food Hall @ Ottawa East will be open Friday, Dec. 16, but with limited hours: 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., and 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., respectively.
Frogtown Café and True Burger will be open Monday, Dec. 19, through Thursday, Dec. 22, with limited hours: 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Frogtown Café and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at True Burger.
Thompson Student Union will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Jan. 2, for winter break.
The Student Recreation Center will be closed Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 17 and 18, reopen Monday through Thursday, Dec. 19-22, with special hours, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and close again for winter break from Friday, Dec. 23, through Monday, Jan. 1.
The Student Recreation Center will be open Tuesday, Jan. 2, through Sunday, Jan. 15, with special hours, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., and close Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Student Recreation Center will return to normal hours on Tuesday, Jan. 17, with the first day of classes for spring semester.
Carlson Library will be closed on Commencement, Saturday, Dec. 17, as well as Sunday, Dec. 18., and will have reduced hours of operation, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday, Dec. 19-22.
The library will be closed for winter break and reopen Tuesday, Jan. 3, with limited hours, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., weekdays and closed on weekends through the first day of spring semester classes, Tuesday, Jan. 17.
The library will be closed Monday, Jan. 16, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
The Main Campus Pharmacy and the pharmacy located in the Comprehensive Care Center on Glendale Avenue will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2. The pharmacy will be open with regular business hours for the rest of winter break.
The outpatient pharmacy in The University of Toledo Medical Center Medical Pavilion will have reduced hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 23. The pharmacy will be closed Saturday, Dec. 24, Sunday, Dec. 25, Sunday, Jan. 1, and Monday, Jan. 2.
The University Health Center will be closed Friday, Dec. 23, Monday, Dec. 26, and Monday, Jan. 2.
The health center will be open only for COVID-19 testing Tuesday, Dec. 27, through Friday, Dec. 30.
Virtual urgent care is available daily throughout winter break for UToledo students, faculty and staff.
