The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation at The University of Toledo will host its upcoming Spring Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, in Savage Arena.
This job fair is open to all business students at the Neff College of Business and Innovation, as well as corporate members of the Toledo community who are seeking to employ Rockets in a variety of fields.
Student attendees will have the opportunity to meet with representatives from local and national companies, learn about job and internship openings and network with other professionals in their area of interest.
“Our Spring Job Fair is the perfect opportunity for our students to connect with potential employers and learn about job and internship opportunities in their chosen field,” said Dr. Terribeth Gordon-Moore, senior associate dean for Undergraduate Programs and Administration in the Neff College of Business and Innovation.
“We anticipate welcoming roughly 100 companies to our campus, and we’re confident that our student attendees will leave the fair with valuable connections and information to continue to build their careers.”
Some of the companies scheduled to attend include Absopure Water Co., Parker Hannifin, Samuel, Son and Co., WTOL-11, the Toledo Zoo and Aquarium and Waste Management, Inc.
The Neff College of Business and Innovation also will host career events leading up to the Job Fair including mock interviews and resume critique days.
These provide students with coaching on strategies and best practices that greatly impact students’ job search skills.
The John B. and Lillian E. Neff College of Business and Innovation’s seven-year average job placement rate is more than 91%, with more than 85% of students participating in an internship during their time at UToledo.
