Six members of the Toledo baseball program have been named Academic All-MAC, the league office recently announced.
Patrick Dillon, Caden Konczak, Scott Mackiewicz, Garret Pike, Camryn Szynski and Trey Wright earned the academic honor.
This marks the second Academic All-MAC honor for Dillon, Mackiewicz, Szynski and Wright. Konczak and Pike are both first-time winners. Wright was one of three student-athletes in the Mid-American Conference to post a perfect 4.0 GPA.
The Academic All-MAC honor is for a student-athlete who has excelled in athletics and academics. To qualify, a student-athlete must have at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA and have participated in at least 50 percent of the contests for that particular sport.
