The T32 Graduate Research Training Initiative for Student Enhancement program, or T32, G-RISE (T32GM144873), is hosting a fellowship workshop Tuesday, Aug. 22, to guide and inform UToledo graduate students in preparing their fellowship grant proposals.
The workshop is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Health Education Building Room 105 on Health Science Campus. The event is open to all UToledo graduate students, postdoctoral fellows and to the public but online registration is required.
T32, G-RISE, is a nationally recognized graduate training program administered by the NIH’s National Institute of General Medical Sciences.
The goal of the workshop is to prepare students for qualifying exams and for federal and foundation fellowship applications with focus on NIH F31 as stated in the T32, G-RISE Training Plan. Participants will learn the technicalities of grant proposals, develop their qualifying exam/fellowship proposals and eventually apply for external funding.
