As the months-long Secor Road Bridge construction project wraps up, crews have opened up single lanes of traffic in both directions from Valleston Parkway to Towerview Boulevard.
The contractor is still working on removing formwork and will need the curb lanes for this work. Curb lanes also will be needed intermittently for the next several weeks to complete sealing and punch-list items. One lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.
The city of Toledo in conjunction with the village of Ottawa Hills closed Secor Road on Jan. 3 for the seven-month construction project. The closure is part of the replacement for the bridge that carries Secor Road over the Ottawa River and includes the installation of new pavement and sidewalks.
