The Center for International Studies and Programs brings together American families and international students every year to celebrate Thanksgiving as part of the campus internationalization efforts.
American families can open their homes to share a meal with international students on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, Nov. 23, or on another date that they will host a Thanksgiving dinner.
“This initiative brings the world together in one of the most important celebrations of the year for American families,” said Xinren Yu, assistant director of the Center for International Studies and Programs. “We love to see how every year more and more families are joining the program, and the wonderful stories we hear from both international students and American families.”
Host families are asked to register online at the CISP application webpage by the Friday, Nov. 10, deadline.
International students or scholars who would like to join an American family for this holiday celebration, should complete the online International Guest Application on the CISP webpage by the Friday, Nov. 10, deadline.
Pairing results will be emailed no later than Friday, Nov. 17.
