Student Film Festival Opens Feb. 19 in Carlson Library

The penultimate show of the 2023-24 South Gallery Series is a selection of 15 films from nine undergraduate film students in the Department of Theatre and Film.

The film festival runs Monday, Feb. 19, through Friday, March 22, with the collection of films shown on a loop in the South Gallery.

•  “Instructional Tape 13,” by Scott Cooper;

•  “Rise of the Planet of the Robots, Part I,” by Mal Sonie;

•  “Factory Made,” by Casey McKeiver;

•  “Karma,” by Emma Tripp;

•  “Uncle Charlie” and “The Deadline,” edited by Mike Budich;

•  “Crowded In,” by Andrew Bowers;

•  “Cycle,” “Snake” and “MOVE,” by Tommy Piaskowski;

•  “Grandmother’s Secret,” by Zoe Bensley; and

•  “Creative Differences,” “BAM,” “Time” and “Mind Games,” by Grace Powell.

The University Libraries South Gallery Series is a six-show line up from local Toledo artists and University of Toledo faculty, staff and students.
