The Environmental Health and Radiation Safety Department at The University of Toledo is soliciting nominations for a new Excellence in Safety award to recognize students, employees and volunteers who have made considerable contributions to improving safety at the University.
Contributions can range from actions taken to prevent injury or illness to identifying and helping to resolve potentially unsafe work conditions.
Individuals can submit a nomination through a webform on the Environmental Health and Radiation Safety Department website.
Awards will be presented on a bi-monthly basis, with one “Elite in Safety” winner presented annually. That individual will receive a $100 gift card.
