The Toledo women’s swimming & diving team earned its eighth consecutive Scholar All-America Team honor from the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for posting a 3.72 team grade point average in the 2024 spring semester.
Toledo had the second-highest team GPA of all seven Mid-American Conference programs recognized on the women’s side. Eastern Michigan posted a 3.77 mark, followed by UT (3.72), Buffalo (3.71), Miami (3.70), Bowling Green (3.69), Akron (3.56), and Ohio (3.56).
The Rockets saw 19 student-athletes receive Academic All-MAC honors from the conference office this year, including five with a perfect 4.0 GPA. The 19 selections are a program-best surpassing the previous record of 16 from the 2022-23 squad. Seniors Madison Giglio, Ryli Harden, Lauren Kilgore and Kennedy Lovell all earned CSC Academic All-District honors, with Giglio and Kilgore earning a CSC Academic All-America selection.
To qualify for this honor, a team must exhibit an exceptional grade point average throughout the semester. In total, 722 teams from 417 institutions (Division I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA) were chosen based on their outstanding academic performance in the classroom this semester.
