The University of Toledo Department of Theatre and Film will host a Halloween film screening of “The Bride of Frankenstein” in the UToledo Center for the Performing Arts Center Theatre beginning at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
Tickets are $5 in advance via the UToledo Tix website or at the box office before the screening.

“The Bride of Frankenstein,” directed by James Whale and starring Boris Karloff, Elsa Lanchester and Colin Clive, was released in 1935. A sequel to 1931’s “Frankenstein,” based on the classic novel of the same name by Mary Wolstonecraft Shelley, it follows the scientist Henry Frankenstein as he is pushed to create a mate for his Monster.
