Exploring ways to enhance recruitment, UToledo launched the “InformationStation,” a 22-foot mobile vehicle gift to the University from the Sheller-Globe Corp. of Toledo on April 17, 1974.

As reported by The Collegian, the InformationStation was designed to visit area high schools and featured a customized interior, including wood paneling and carpeting, wooden racks installed by UToledo carpenters to hold University marketing materials and a screen for slide presentations.
