The Center for International Studies and Programs will celebrate International Education Week, Monday, Nov. 18, through Friday, Nov. 22, with nearly 20 events hosted by different offices on campus.

“International Education Week is not only an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and exchange worldwide but also a great opportunity for people to learn about other countries and cultures,” said Xinren Yu, director of the Center for International Studies and Programs.

“We are hosting the first annual international education expo this year, and there will be over 30 offices/organizations attending the expo to promote resources for students, faculty and staff who would like to internationalize their experience at UToledo. We will also have people onsite to write your names in 10 languages during the expo,” he said. “In addition, there will be an international food challenge, a cultural experience at the International Village, a holidays around the world event, a special drink menu at Starbucks and Frogtown and much more.”

International Education Week aims to promote international understanding and build support for international educational exchange. The goal is to give every Rocket an international experience.
