Interim President Matt Schroeder and University of Toledo mascots Rocky and Rocksy welcomed Toledo Mayor Wade Kapszukiewicz and fellow cyclists to campus Friday morning during national Bike to Work Day.

The ride, hosted by the Commuter Project Toledo, the city of Toledo and the Toledo Metropolitan Area Council of Governments, began in Sylvania and ended at One Government Center in downtown Toledo, making several stops along the way including one in front of University Hall. The event was aimed at encouraging Toledoans to consider bicycling or using public transportation for their daily commute.
