The University of Toledo College of Law will welcome back three alumni judges to share their journeys from classroom to courtroom on Tuesday, Sept. 2.
Judges Myron Duhart, Linda Knepp and Michelle Wagner will discuss how their unique career paths have been guided by a shared foundation in “Integrity, Civil Discourse and Practicing Law ‘The Toledo Way’” at noon in the McQuade Law Auditorium.
The Toledo Way refers to the well-known collegiality that characterizes the legal community in Toledo. The free, public event kicks off the College of Law’s 2025-26 Toledo Way Series.
“As we begin the second year of our Toledo Way Series, we are thrilled to welcome three alumni who exemplify the spirit of the Toledo Way,” said Kate Abu-Absi, the program manager for alumni and student engagement at the College of Law. “Judges Myron Duhart, Linda Knepp and Michelle Wagner are pillars of our legal community, highly respected by their colleagues and steadfast in their support of students and young professionals.”
Duhart, who received his juris doctor from the College of Law in 1996, is currently serving on the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals and previously served as a trial judge in the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, General Division. Wagner, who graduated from the College of Law in 1994, has served on the Toledo Municipal Court since 2011. And Knepp, who graduated in 1992, was appointed to the Lucas County Probate Court in 2021.
