The judges discussed how their unique career paths have been guided by a shared foundation in “Integrity, Civil Discourse and Practicing Law ‘The Toledo Way.’ ”
Duhart received his juris doctor from the College of Law in 1996 and is serving on the Ohio Sixth District Court of Appeals having previously served as a trial judge in the Lucas County Common Pleas Court, General Division. Wagner graduated from the College of Law in 1994 and has served on the Toledo Municipal Court since 2011. And Knepp, who graduated in 1992, was appointed to the Lucas County Probate Court in 2021.
The Toledo Way refers to the well-known collegiality that characterizes the legal community in Toledo. The free, public event kicked off the College of Law’s 2025-26 Toledo Way Series.
