Members of the campus community can help address food insecurity and hygiene needs across the region by purchasing limited-edition University of Toledo apparel and water bottles through the end of the week.

In each of the last three years, UToledo Health has collected shelf-stable food and personal care products like shampoo, deodorant and toothpaste to be distributed throughout the community to families in need.

This year, UToledo Health has partnered with Jupmode to offer a special T-shirt, hooded sweatshirt and two UToledo Health-branded water bottles, with all proceeds supporting the annual drive.

The items are available for purchase through a special UToledo Jupmode storefront now through noon on Friday, Nov. 28. Following the sale’s conclusion, UToledo Health will schedule order pick-up times on Main Campus or Health Science Campus.

UToledo Health has set a goal of assembling 250 hygiene kits in December, which will be distributed by several area community organizations. Donated canned goods and other shelf-stable food items will help restock local food pantries.
