In addition to the competition, students also heard a presentation on transitioning from high school to college and took part in a question-and-answer session with current UToledo students in various healthcare fields.

“This is an opportunity for us to support these future healthcare professionals and showcase The University of Toledo and what we have to offer,” said Dr. Michelle Seegert, associate dean for admissions and enrollment management in the College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences. “It introduces students to our campus, our healthcare programs, and allows them to see that our students train in real world environments, and that’s what you get when you come get your education here.”

Ohio HOSA-Future Health Professionals will return to Toledo for its state leadership conference in April at the Glass City Center.
