A portion of Douglas Road and several parking lots on Main Campus will be closed temporarily on Tuesday, Jan. 26 for the memorial service in Savage Arena for Toledo Police Officer Brandon Stalker who was killed in the line of duty.
Douglas Road from University Hills to Dorr Street and parking lots 3, 4, 5 and 6 near Savage Arena will be closed from 6:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the memorial service, which will begin at 10 a.m. Traffic around campus also will be impacted.
Members of the University community needing to visit the engineering campus during this period of time should use the entrance off Dorr Street by the Research and Technology Complex or Westwood Avenue from Bancroft Street.
The memorial service is open to family and friends of the Stalker family and law enforcement. COVID-19 safety protocols will be observed.
