The University reminds students, faculty and staff that all vehicles on campus are required to have a permit to park on campus. Register for a parking permit by visiting the UToledo parking portal.
Parking and Transportation Services will begin enforcement with citations for failure to register for a permit on Monday, Jan. 25. During the first week of classes warnings have been given as students adjust to their new schedule. The deadline to cancel a permit and receive a refund is Tuesday, Feb. 2.
There are a number of permit options to park on campus. In addition to semester and yearly permits, members of the University community can consider a daily permit for $5 or a monthly permit for $50. Meters also are available around campus and are enforced 24/7 and can be used with the ParkMobile app by entering the zone number of the parking area.
If you are looking to leave your car at home, alternative transportation methods available on campus include bus services, electric scooters and a bike-share program with a fleet that includes bicycles and tricycles, as well as tandem and hand-pedal options.
As a reminder, Parking and Transportation Services communicates primarily through your UToledo email, this includes ticket notifications. Most violations are e-tickets and will not be placed on your vehicle. If the vehicle is not registered properly with your student or employee account, your ticket will be sent in the mail to the registered owner of the vehicle.
Visit the Parking and Transportation Services website for additional information about parking on campus, including a tutorial on how to purchase a permit.
