The University of Toledo women’s swimming and diving team was selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-American Team, per an announcement from the organization.

The Rockets posted a cumulative team GPA of 3.79 to earn the honor, the highest of all women’s division I teams. A total of 728 teams from 450 colleges and universities earned the honor. Teams with a GPA of 3.3 or higher will become eligible for the Intercollegiate Coaches Association Coalition All-Sport Academic Standings.

“Our program is comprised of women who are fiercely supportive of each other, in and out of the pool,” head coach Brie Globig said. “We celebrate our strong academics as much as our strong athletic performances.”

The CSCAA was founded in1922 as the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy and professional development.
