The contest will be a rematch of last year’s CollegeInsiders.com Tournament first-round matchup, which saw the Rockets register a 76-63 victory over the Cowboys.

The contest is scheduled for a 2 p.m. tip-off in Savage Arena.

Toledo is riding a three-game win streak and will host Miami Wednesday, Feb. 6, and Eastern Michigan Saturday, Feb. 9, in Savage Arena.

McNeese State is currently 8-12 overall and 2-8 in the Southland Conference and are led offensively by the tandem of sophomore guard Desharick Guidry and senior forward Dontae Cannon who are averaging 11.9 and 11.6 points per game, respectively.

Toledo is competing in BracketBusters for a 10th year and holds a 2-7 record in the event following its 59-58 victory at Sam Houston State last year. UT’s first BracketBuster contest was at Nevada in 2004 and resulted in a 60-58 defeat. The Rockets then hosted SMU (78-67 win) in 2005, visited Detroit (65-63 loss) in 2006, hosted Old Dominion (73-70 loss) in 2007 and Delaware (77-69 loss) in 2008, traveled to Indiana State (69-62 loss) in 2009 and Cleveland State (87-63 loss) in 2010 and entertained Eastern Illinois (75-58 loss) in 2011.
