The Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards and Title IX Office is recruiting new members for the University Conduct Board, the Sexual Misconduct Board and the Title IX Board.
The University Conduct Board is comprised of students, faculty and staff, and is responsible for resolving allegations of non-academic student misconduct within the UToledo community.
The Title IX Board and the Sexual Misconduct Board are comprised of faculty and staff and are responsible for resolving allegations of sexual misconduct within the UToledo community and in relation to the Student Code of Conduct.
Training for the University Conduct Board will be conducted on campus in late spring 2022 and early fall 2022. Title IX/Sexual Misconduct Board members will be required to complete a multi-session virtual training during late spring and early summer 2022. There is no cost to the individual for the training, but all sessions must be completed in order to serve on the hearing board.
Board members play an integral role in educating students about their rights and responsibilities as members of the UToledo community and upholding community behavioral standards as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.
It is the goal of the Office of Student Conduct and Community Standards and Title IX Office that the composition of these boards be representative of UToledo’s diverse campus community, and inclusive of women, underrepresented minorities, veterans and individuals with disabilities.
Those interested in joining before the Monday, Feb. 28, deadline can find more information about the opportunities online.
