Art Student Works Displayed on Area Billboards

Throughout February, the UToledo Digital Billboard Exhibition is showcasing nearly 20 works of art by UToledo student artists on area digital billboards.

Nearly 20 works by 10 art students are featured in this year’s UToledo Digital Billboard Exhibition, appearing on 16 digital billboard locations during February throughout the Toledo area.

Curated by Barry Whittaker, associate professor of art and new media design practices, the annual exhibit is in collaboration with Lamar Outdoor Advertising.

The 19 exhibited works in the collection represent a range of media and mixed media from UToledo student artists: Donna Beauregard, Haley Boehm, Alaina Coote, Justin Fisher, Lindsay Haynes, Logan Herl, Vince Livecchi, Alexa McLaughlin, Jane Sullivan and Tara Yarzand.

The digital billboard locations are at Reynolds Road at Airport Highway, Glendale Avenue at Byrne Road, Monroe Street at Laskey Road, Tremainsville Road at Laskey Road, Washington Street at Huron Street, Reynolds Road at Glendale Avenue, Anthony Wayne Trail at City Park, Anthony Wayne Trail at Western Avenue, Alexis Road at Lewis Avenue, Byrne Road at Airport Highway, Monroe Street at Douglas Road, Erie Street at Monroe Street, Erie Street at the Anthony Wayne Trail, I-475 at Upton Avenue, I-75 at Berdan Avenue and Talmadge Avenue at W. Sylvania Avenue.
