Rocket Community Invited to UToledo Night at Detroit Pistons Game on Feb. 24

The Toledo Rockets can cheer on the Detroit Pistons.

The Office of Student Involvement and Leadership, Center for International Studies and Programs, Division of Student Affairs and Alumni Relations Office are sponsoring a UToledo Night for students, alumni, faculty, staff at the Detroit Pistons’ home game against the Orlando Magic on Saturday, Feb. 24.

“Let’s bring the blue and gold to the game for a night of fun and camaraderie as Rockets.”

The first 200 student tickets for the event sold out within hours, and now an additional 50 student tickets have been made available for the game on a first-come, first-served basis.

Student tickets are $25 and are available online through Student Affairs. The student package includes transportation, free food, post-game shooting opportunities, a sweatshirt and admission to the game. The bus to the game will leave Snyder Memorial at 5 p.m. and will return to campus late that same night.

Alumni, faculty, staff also are invited to attend:

•  UToledo alumni may purchase tickets online through the UToledo Alumni Association.

•  UToledo faculty, staff and other members of the Rocket community may purchase tickets directly from the Detroit Pistons-UToledo Night website.

Everyone who purchases tickets to the Feb. 24 game will receive a co-branded Detroit Pistons/UT crewneck sweatshirt.
