The UToledo Art Department’s annual Juried Student Exhibition is on display through Sunday, March 23, in the Center for Visual Arts Gallery, with a reception and awards ceremony scheduled Friday, Feb. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m.
The 2025 exhibition is a showcase for 29 artworks from 22 student-artists in the Art Department and features a variety of media, including painting, sculpture, photography, drawing and video game design.
“The Juried Student Exhibition is always my favorite exhibition of the year because it celebrates our students and highlights the broad range of creative work that they do in our studio courses,” said Dan Hernandez, a professor in the Department of Art, who also served as one of show’s jurors, along with Daniel McInnis, an associate professor of art, and Arturo Rodriguez, an associate professor of art.
“This year’s exhibition is particularly strong,” Hernandez added. “I hope that the UToledo community will come see the show and join us for the reception.”
