On Monday, March 6, and Tuesday, March 7, Facilities and Administration will be implementing repairs and updates campuswide and to individual buildings.
This work will include two steam outages:
From 7 a.m. to noon Monday, March 6, for the entire campus, during which:
• Building temperatures will be managed through automation to reduce impact;
• Domestic hot water for sinks and showers will not be available; and
• Building steam supplied cage washers and autoclaves will not function.
And from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, for Parks Tower, Ottawa House East, Ottawa House West and Presidents Hall, during which:
• Building temperatures will be managed through automation to reduce impact; however,
• Domestic hot water for sinks and showers will not be impacted.
Additionally, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 7, there will be a complete water shutdown for the Health and Human Services Building to replace the back flow preventer that feeds the entire building.
“We appreciate your patience and apologize for any inconvenience this work may cause,” said Jason Toth, senior associate vice president for administration, “but these are necessary repairs and updates.”
