Dr. Shahna Arps, assistant professor of anthropology, talks with seventh and eighth grade students from Toledo Public Schools about how researchers study fossils and skeletal material to glean important information about past species, populations and individuals. The students were on campus Wednesday as part of the College of Arts and Letters’ Future Women in STEM event.
